Hi all, I know the answer to this is probably a longshot, but I have a mystery system beep sound during runtime on my standalone player. I have a full gui interface project for a worksite safety plan that contains interactive components, however whenever the standalone player is running, the tablet or laptop that the "game" is running on will make system beeps erratically. it is usually about 5-8 beeps in a row, and the intervals in between the series of beeps is very sporadic. The scripting does not contain any calls for sounds whatsoever, so I am at a loss as to what could be causing this behaviour. The editor does not reproduce the same effect, only the standalone player. The platform is Windows 10 devices running this, and built in unity 5.5. has anyone run into a problem like this before, and if so, is there a solution?

Try a different laptop with different hardware. Beep codes are generally indicative of a problem with the hardware.

Thanks LaneFox, it does not seem to do it on my home PC, still not sure why it does it on 2 types of tablets and another laptop at work though. would the windows Event Viewer lend any insight into what hardware is not playing nice?

I found the error in a script that kept calling for the touchkeyboard to close under an if condition even if it was closed. I added bool to check the status, and this fixed the problem.
