[Solved] How to push messages to web client

    I'm implementing a turn based multiplayer teaching game for some company. The game is required to run in browser so webgl. There are 4 players per game and there's probably 20-30 players max at any given time. So for the backend I use a nodejs and the game just uses POST and GET requests. That's good enough for most things. What I haven't figured out with this approach is how the server can send messges to the a client out of order. For instance when someone sends a chat message or puts up an item for trade. What's the "official" method for that?

    Edit: Can't find a delete button for the post. I resolved this by using the NativeWebSocket library.
