I have some rather long idle/moving animations, that are really good, unfortunately when I try to transition to attck animation, the transition only occurs after the idle animation was played completely.

How can I make the transition interrupt the animation?

Please note that the problem is not the transition taking too long, rather the transtioon takes too long to START.

    Thanky you for your time.

You might have the 'atomic' checkbox ticked in the transition, if so this means the animation cannot be interrupted
It's also a good idea to reduce your transition time down as much as possible while still looking smooth to ensure rapid transfer between multiple animation states to keep the animation snappy

thank you for the reply, but this does not sem to be the problem. this only disables atransition to be interrupted, and the transtition itself is working fine. My problem was that I had "has exit time" checked. once I uncheked, it worked fine.

    thank you for your time
