[Solved] GUI Text troubles.

    I am having the same problem as many, yet all the posts don't seem to help. I create an empty game object, then go to Component... > Rendering... > Gui Text. The problem is no matter what I do a cannot get the Gui text to appear. I am certain I have tried everything yet it never seems to appear. I am following the Space Shooter tutorial.

    Never mind, got the text to appear; for some reason it was really far off the screen so I had to set the values of the pixel offset quite high.
