    Hello!

    I just finished with the mesh of a simple dinosaur/dragon, and now as I have started working on the texturing, some mesh faces have started behaving very weird - turning invisible when viewing them from different angles.

    As you can see, the mesh that resembles the thigh appears invisible in front of the main body mesh. I have tried using different materials, deleting history and checked so that the mesh is not "inverted", but nothing have worked. :(

    Does anyone know the cause of these invisible faces?

    Any help will be much appreciated!

    Edit;
    I solved the problem by right clicking on Transparency and choosing Break Connection in the attribute editor.

    You may need to re texture it.

    Thanks for your respond, but what exactly do you mean by re texturing it?

    I have tried assigning new materials, tried with different image formats of the texture and deleting/creating new new UV maps.

    I am using Maya 2015 by the way.

    Also, what maps are you using?

    If by maps you mean the Automatic Mapping, Planar Mapping etc, then I have tried them all.

    Also, if I Delete UVs the problem still exists, and if I assign a new material (lambert in this case) but don't choose a texture for it, the mesh seems to work just fine..
