[SOLVED] DOTS availability plan

    so i've been watching several video about DOTS and really intrigued about it. but recently i found out that unity 2018 entity packages are outdated, and forced to install 2019 version in order to use and follow existing sample.

    to cut it short i'd like to ask :
    is Unity entities are going to be available to older version of unity once it's stable enough , or we are forced to use later version in order to use it ? can LTS version get benefit from it when it entity have stable release ?

    I think LTS versions do not get new feature and only crucial bug fixes so I would guess no.

    No. Entities require API introduced in Unity 2019.
