I'm having troble creating effects because my textures always end up with a gray border when i set the alpha source to be from the grayscale. Anyone knows why's that and how to circumvent?

The alpha is correct in this case, but the color also still contains the varying values.

You want an image with this as alpha and white as color. Easy to make in any image editing software.

So, how to circumvent, don't use Grey Scale as Alpha Source, but make the texture with correct alpha and color instead.
