So Unity Hub shows a new Unity minor version release. Will it allow me to overwrite my old Unity?

    On Steam, if you purchase Game Maker Studio 2, Steam will periodically check if a later version is out, and then will overwrite the previous Game Maker Studio 2 installation if a later version exists. Automatically. And I can't even turn it off.

    And it's always upon startup... <_<

    Anyway, I would like to ask if Unity Hub supports or will support overwriting old Unity installations, if the release is a minor version.

    The hub does not directly support 'overwriting' or 'upgrading' an installation. You need to uninstall the old version and install the new one.
