The error means, you've updated the SDK, but didn't accept the license. If so, you can do the following:
    • Open CMD with Administrator
    • Navigate to C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2020.3.14f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\tools\bin
    • Execute sdkmanager.bat --licenses
    • Accept licenses

    Hopefully that helps

    OMG YOU'RE A LIFESAVER
holy frak, i just spent (and not the first time either) 3 days uninstalling, reinstalling and updating java, android studio, apk's in manager, downloaded and tried a different jre, a different ndk, multiple gradle versions in my Preferences, also reinstalling 2020.3.14f1 and a several other tips people give in forums. Nothing worked.

while all it took was opening dos and typing one line of code...........

I wish we wouldn't have to deal with solving android config crap ourselves, many or most of us don't have the knowledge and really don't care about that part, we just wanna code and make awesome stuff in unity.

    tnx again bro

By the way, unity definitely should make this solution of hard-forcing license through CMD more known. I assumed uninstalling and reinstalling things in Android Studio would do the/that trick but if the unity software is not the culprit of this license issue and you actually have such an easy possible solution..... scream it from the rooftops!!

I'll check if these steps can be done from Unity. Glad that you're unblocked now

Yeah... this is really annoying.. I am getting licences not accepted error after a long wait for an android build. But in 2019 I can not go to any hub path

I wish this worked for me. I've been working on this app for 5 years in live production and I've never had to jump through these hoops with the SDK.

If the error is there after accepting the licenses, run cmd as administrator first, then run:

    1) cd C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2020.3.14f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\tools\bin
    2) sdkmanager.bat --licenses

I had to run as administrator to accept licenses.

    • Open CMD with Administrator
    • Navigate to C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2020.3.14f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\tools\bin
    • Execute sdkmanager --licenses
    • This will load some files and later asks you to accept licenses one by one by pressing Y
    • Accept all licenses and exit

OMG, got this same issue, but I fixed it by setting an environment variable JVA_HOME into Windows, with the path to the Unity OpenJDK. In my case:

    C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2021.3.4f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\OpenJDK

Please set the JAVA_HOME variable in your environment to match the

Maybe god willing, Elon Musk will buy Unity and fire all the people who dont make an effort to care. Unity 2018 was perfect with its internal Build, then they got rid of it. And 5 years later, they still cant fix their own gradle issue problems,

I got same error with @sinjimonkey. For me and my Unity 2022.3.18f1 it was "C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2022.3.18f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK\cmdline-tools\6.0\bin" and executing "sdkmanager.bat --licenses" there.

The key was to use ...\SDK\cmdline-tools\6.0\bin\sdkmanager instead of ...\SDK\tools\bit\sdkmanager
