SnazzyPaint speeds up up your workflow when it comes to material assignment. Categorize and sort your materials, only display the ones that you really need and use, prepare your custom material lists for different scenes, store presets and most importantly, paint materials to the objects in your scene without hassle.

SnazzyPaint works well with meshes that have mutiple material slots. A lot of attention and effort has been put into the actual workflow. You can achieve more in less time and enjoy the work.

Together with SnazzyGrid you will experience a whole new unity that is easier to use and generally more enjoyable. SnazzyGrid is of course not neccesary to be in your project but it for sure compliments SnazzyPaint, especially when it comes to modular assets.

    Features:

    Painting
    • Paint with ease, just click and drag over the objects in your scene
    • Quickly cycle through the available material slots with hotkeys
    • Reliable undo
    • Preview the material on the objects just by hovering over
    • Easily replace materials in the entire scene
    Manage
    • Create material lists (e.g. for different asset packs)
    • Create categories (e.g. for floors, walls, ceilings, etc.)
    • Use drag and drop to change the order to your liking
    • Automatically prevents you from creating duplicates within a catgory
    • Reduced clutter - only add what you need.
    • Set your own hotkeys

So, what else to say? Oh yes, the price...once it's approved by the assetstore team it will be availible for $ 15,- (introductory price)

Yes you can paint any mesh with multiple materials. It doesn't split the mesh in several parts, but you can change the material slot index you are painting on with hotkeys.

You can replace the png brush image by any image you want...

But i have a question, if i add all the materials or resources of SnazzyPaint, what would be his final weight?, for the aplication or game compiled in proyect.

SnazzyPaint is an editor extension and should not add any size to your builds.

I used SnazzyPaint for the first time today and I really like it. But I have a problem as soon as I try to build my game. Every build results in the following error message:

Assets/SnazzyTools/SnazzyPaint/Scripts/MaterialListSave.cs(6,16): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `MaterialList_Class' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?

I'm using Unity Indie V4.6.2f1. Can you give some hints?

    Regards,
    Patrick

I had some time to take a closer look on that problem today and I found a workaround. I had to create a seperate script file for every class that is defined in SnazzyPaint.cs. Now it's working just fine. If there is a better solution, please let me know. But until then I can work with this workaround.

    Regards,
    Patrick

Hi there, works fine with materials, but I don't seem to be able to add SBSAR substance files to the shelf? That would make it even more useful ... :)

    It only works with materials.
