working on a junk package for the asset store.
What do you think, how much would you pay for this? The package includes diffuse, normal and specular maps.

A Nation simulator based on this game.

    Very early development.

Trying to add everything I wanted in the real game + the basic stuff. Speacially customization.

Is this a game any of you would play? Because I need to know if I should finish my prototype.

    GAME LINK

    Controls:
    Esc for creation menu
    wasd or arrows to steer.

    Edit: Now the right link.

You posted the wrong link: it refers to your own filesytem.

Played it now :) The idea is nice, but mostly as an exercise. Otherwise, to be honest, I find it too similar to other games, and thus wouldn't play it.

EDIT: though, seeing the creation menu, if the concept is that you can place pieces around to reach places, it becomes more original and interesting, and actually might play it :)

    Very nice, Very nice.

I love it! I got to around 2200 score. Around 1200 it starts to get buggy and jerky when you go around the pillars.

    Nice work!

@charliesamways: Wow, pure awesomeness: love them! :)

@titanty: the problems MrDuskling pointed out are definitely too evident and make it unplayable. Would be curious to see how it comes out when you polish it.

Looks nice, :) However, I personally find the walls to look very flat and boring. I'ld suggest that you add some pipes, fire extinguishers, or whatever on atleast some of them to get a more interesting scene. Or if nothing else atleast try to add some kind of trim/pillar-structure on them. :p
And perhaps it's just me beeing a fog-junkie but try to add some light-blue or gray fog to the scene, not necessarily a dense fog but I think it'ld add alot to the atmosphere.

I rewrote the dragRigidbody script to c# and modified it a bit so I could use it in my game to move dead characters around. Still looks odd but atleast it works for now. xD

    Okay, more pixel.

Ive circled the areas I think have issues, and id like to ask if anyone has any good reference links for pixel characters, Im struggling to get the proportioning right.

A recent idea that I came across. I plan to fill the room with office type items such as a desk, filing cabinet and various other things that reflect myself. Any suggestions or comments?

@Charliesamways, if you do a quick sketch(simple and small like A6 size) of the charicter, scan make that a layer in photoshop draw on a layer above it the sprite(make sure its like 512x512 or 1024x1024)... reduce it and fix problems(repeat this untill its like 32x32 or 16x16)then you can get the proportions perfect, it takes a fair amount of time though... to much that i choose to not do it but alot of people use this method and it works well if you need a high quality sprite.

Hmmm never thought of a webplayer (it's a PC game), be curious to see how the webplayer handles it; splitscreen might be a stretch.

Still working on my Modular Sci-fi set.
I made some premade rooms and corridors (39 till now...a lot more to come)

i made one base texture (tiling parts etc), so i can model "over" the texture.

i guess if i really finish this set, i will have round about 100+ pieces that should stick together perfectly and only have ONE texture :)

As requested here is the webplayer for my game

Currently uses 8 bots - there are two levels (one is very bare bones). You need to have your 360 controller (wired or wireless should work) to your Windows PC before starting the game. This game may work on Macs or with other controllers, but the buttons will be messed up. Still can't use triggers properly (they may or may not work, or control the wrong players triggers), so you have to use the bumpers. You can attach up to four controllers.

Edit: The webplayer seems a bit flaky - I've had to hit refresh to get everything to load up - not sure if Unity is doing downloading in the background?

I was sad you got no responses, so I just wanted to say I approve. Especially if they look as good as your model collection.
