Slow Open and Extra Packages

    When ever I open a new Unity project up it tends to take a decently long (20-30s) to load. Not a big deal if that is how long it is supposed to take. However, I figured that that since a new project is relatively empty and I have a high end computer, it would be a very quick open. Regardless, then I noticed that there was this list of already uploaded packages.

    What are these and are they the reason a brand new project takes so long to load?
