Slender: The Arrival recording camera UI

    Hello, everyone. I'm making a Slender-themed horror game on Unity 5. There's this one feature that I want to have in my game, but, don't know how to make it. I'm talking about the "recording camera" UI from the 2013 Unity game "Slender: The Arrival". This UI features a battery life icon, timer icon, and a record icon. I really want to make my game have this feature, so, if anybody knows a way I can create it, that would mean the world to me. Please and thank you!

    It's most likely just gui. You could make it in photoshop with an opacity applied. Your battery and timer can easily be updated through code (assuming they change) and then just a button. It's actually pretty simple. If the rec flashes, just use a tweening engine to keep it going and have it blink.

    @Brathnann , any idea how to code the battery and timer? If you could help me out again, that would be nice.

    Hi, there are tons of threads and Answer solutions to this one (timer).

    Just google it (I know, as I did last year) so you can find the one you like or cook something up from the ones you find - like this one:

    EDIT: battery is basically just the same idea, but even simpler. Make a counter down, a float from one to zero, or even simpler 5 to 1 if you need 5 steps, then round the number each frame, then display corresponding amount of battery display "blocks" based on this number.
