    Apologies for the many simple Qs, this is just stuff that I can find in the FAQ or quick searching while evaluating, I'm afraid so far I haven't made full use of the manual...
    Is it currently possible to get moving clouds in a skybox or by some other method?

    You would just add a very large quad over your terrain, apply an alpha shader presto...

    Thanks very much. By quad do you mean cube or a single quad polygon? yes I am as beginner as beginner gets :D

    Both should work...

    The trick is to scale it very large, of course.

    To get you skytexture to tile, you would use the material inspector to change the texture scaling
