Question Sketch on arbitrary object

Hi all,

I wish to create a game that has a feature to let the user do free sketches on an arbitrary object, (the outside of a plane etc.). They need to be able to sketch on the object by left clicking and dragging, then rotate the object by right clicking and dragging. When the object rotates, the painting should moving along together.

Could you please give me some inspirations on what is the best way to do this?
