    Any update on when your next asset pack will be coming out? Really excited for Simple Apocalypse!

    You should include some churches and religious buildings in one of your packs. Also, a science themed pack would be awesome too!

    lovelyUnity Simple Buildings has a church :)
    KastroLee Based on how things are going, we should be close to submitting around mid April, got a bunch of animations to do, build the huge demo scene and heaps of polish.

    Could you please explain me how to do it? Because i didnt undestood well how to make it possible.

    And a last request:

    Could you possibly add a Bank bulding to Simple Town or Simple Buildings or both? I really need that building for my game. I know you are busy with Apocalypse, but i dont need a giant bank, just need a normal or small bank for my game. Also, you could make it for normal, and destroyed for Apocalypse. Thanks :D

    Hi,
    i want to use all of your assets in my game but i require skinned meshes for simple citizens,people to make a ragdoll for them,so are they present in the asset and possible to make a ragdoll for them?

    With the simple zombies / people / military, what has been everyone's best practices for adding colliders? do you create empty child objects with colliders in the hierarchy of the prefabs, add them directly to the head/torso, etc or make the prefabs a child of a new npc/player game object with it's own collider hierarchy?

    I am specifically looking to add colliders to the zombies in order to raycast head and torso hits with weapons, etc.
    When you import the assets in, do you typically create new prefabs in order to modify them?

    Has anyone had any issues baking lightmaps with scenes using prefabs from simplecity? Not matter what I try with my baking it really messes up all the textures of the scene and looks really odd. Are the meshes proper UV mapped ones?

    Make sure you tick 'generate lightmap Uv's' on the models in the inspector

    Thank you, but if I've constructed my scene using the prefabs, will me ticking that option on the models make any difference? Or will I have to rebuild new prefabs with the option changed model? (Because I can't access the model in the prefab).

    paulojsam - There is no way to do that without cutting Unity out of the pie and we wont do that. The special might last all month, and the amount it will go up by is unknown, it all depends on sales.

    I got to say that I absolutely hate this low poly art style more than I could ever hope to express in words. I am permanently furious that the Asset Store is so full of low poly nonsense and then Synty Studios comes along and gives us the most low poly models there can possibly be (short of a world of billboard characters)...

    For some people this might be the epicenter of awesome but I don't believe that hardware is getting better and better and that phones are getting to be stronger than game consoles just so we can be stuck making games with MineCraft quality graphics for the next decade. Low poly died over a decade ago. Now, don't take this as a personal attack, please, it's a matter of personal taste. I feel just as strongly about Lego so don't even get me started on my Lego rant :p Fun as the games may be, I bloody hate the low poly look of it all.

    I just needed that said so you know how strongly I hate low poly models so that you can appreciate exactly how much of a compliment this is coming from me when I say your apocalypse kit looks super bad ass! :D I've been making lots of jokes about Manufactura's apocalypse kit being so nice and clean that it even has brand new street decorations... but THIS kit, dude, it looks awesome. This looks more Resident Evil than apocalypse but that is what makes it awesome! :D So much so that I went out of my way to find a way to contact you and tell you just how much I loved that youTube video :D

    With all the stuff happening in there I can just imagine myself making a game where I just take your scene exactly as is, add a watch at the bottom saying: "Time since infection: 4 days, 9 hours, 13 minutes X seconds" and just having that clock tick off and having people jump from one location to the next so they can witness the many stories that takes place all at the same time... The amount of stuff happening in that video. Omg. Drop in a dialogue engine and make it one big escape plan with people attacking the problem from 5 directions, some got cut off and tell the story of what is going on in that video... That would be an entire game right there! :D

    Truly awesome job. If only I didn't have such hangups over the art style I would have definitely bought it... and considering how low poly this is, trust me when I say that is a huge compliment coming from me. Just wanted to say congratulations on a job well done! :D

    p.s. now that you have this kit, you seriously need to start thinking about mutated dogs with faces that open up instead of mouthes. Some wicked low poly mutated creatures for boss battles or something. Can't have Low Poly Resident Evil without mutant dogs and super scary 64 poly beasts/monsters/mutants/etc ;)

    In my opinion $120 is too high even for final price, considering that many models looks like simple variations of models from other packages (other models looks like were just copied and pasted from other of your packages)

    Don't get me wrong, i really like your packs and this have some awesome models, but in my case i'll just have to pass on this or wait until the price gets more reasonable.

    I had no choise Devision, yes its Unitz but at the time it looked like the most viable multiplayer game template option of the unity store. Ian, from Intense Games, was able to lend his talent to make some changes into it, i am using it as a demonstration but since unitz creator wont reply to emails to help me change it further, i am open to new sugestions.
    What multiplayer package do you recommend

    Anyone else who builds something using your assets and releases on steam gets labeled an asset flipper but Dean's hailed as a genius. Funny old world.

    Hi @syntystudios,

    You said last year you were going to add strafing (walking left & right) and walking & running backwards to the animations in the military pack.
    Was that ever done? They're still not listed in the available animations on their asset store's page.
    If not, how should I go about animating and moving a top-down character with WASD keys? You've set up mecanim from what I can see but my characters can only walk or run forwards.

    I would love Simple roads too, which goes hand to hand with easyroads3d with all types of separate road textures, intersections/cross-section, side objects, bridges etc.... current roads are not modular enough for a bit complex shapes...

    just an idea....

    So I just purchased this pack and am impressed by the artwork but a little curious about the demos.Are they just supposed to be static representations of the assets ? I mean I would expect the SA Demo to be populated with characters and maybe a controller to check things out.I dropped a Unity standard FPS controller into the scene just so I could explore but found there aren't any colliders anywhere and my character went into freefall mode :p
    I saw this with the Military pack as well.The supplied FPS controller with hands in that packs demo didn't work if I remember correctly
    One last thing. There are 2 mesh related warnings.One on import regarding missing tangents and binormals and one on starting the SA demo regarding a missing mesh.

    ImportFBX Warnings:
    Can't import tangents and binormals, because mesh 'SA_Props_BurntBrown_Ute_01' doesn't have it.

    SA_Bld_Motel_Dumpster_01 is missing mesh
