    Hi there!

We just work on a submarine game for mobile devices and would like to introduce it a bit here.

Some information: It will have a free patrol mode. Your base is Midway, where you start with an american submarine (Balao class). You can equip it there (torpedos, ammunition, fuel, ...) and start your patrol. You will have a map where you select where you want to go. In map mode there will be some kind of a time warp mode. As soon as you spot something (or get spotted) the game will switch to the normal 3d mode for combat.
It won't be a hardcore simulation but it's realistic.

There will be missions as well of course, a career mode. And not only ships but also attacking planes. You can use either your torpedos, board cannon, flak or try to pile it - but please don't try that with a destroyer. ;)

So here's just a screenshot from Midway, your home port where you can equip your submarine!

Time is 6pm. Sunset! Kind of romantic, eh?

Love the GUI, and the concept is interesting as well. I'd consider adding a follow camera to the torpedo so you can watch it travel to your target and slam into them. If not for the game, at least for the teaser video. Would add some pop and "viscera" to it.

I have fond memories of Silent Service for NES many years ago.

I like the way this one is looking too. and glad it won't be a "hardcore simulation" :p

Yep, hardcore sim might be too much for mobiles. ;) Thanks guys. Nice idea with the torpedo following cam.

Looks great! I love the wake and foam on the dive. I have to ask - did older subs not breach the way the modern ones do? I keep wanting the sub to rotate up a bit when it comes above water, but maybe I've just seen Hunt for Red October too many times. ;)

Also, I wonder, will you be playing ambient submarine sounds, or are you planning on music?

It will have ambient submarine sounds and almost no music except title music. ;)

WWII submarines were quite fast diving ones. About 30 seconds with a good crew. Nowadays modern subs usually need several minutes to dive.

Breaching the surface on the other hand is something newer subs can do "better" or faster.

It's awesome, but for the night i will suggest you more dark colors for the sky (In my opinion).

Well maybe, yes. It's a full moon night so it's not that dark. On mobiles it could become very tricky when it's too dark IMHO...

I just made a small buoyancy test video:

Oh and I don't mind if you like our page on Facebook. :D HA! Well, of course that's optional! ;)

I'm not sure what I think of this. It looks good. The GUI looks good. I honestly find this game odd. I really don't know how I feel.

Some screenshots from our finalizes game. Finalizes doesn't mean that it won't get updates. We have many features planned already like attacking war planes, medals/achievements, ...
