Bug Sign in window constantly pops up

    Hello,

    I have a problem, for some time the Sign in window constantly pops up, after almost evey action. But if I close it it plastic works and is logged in. If I try to log in, it shows that it worked but the window pops up anyway.

    It tried on 3 machines and it is happening on all of them.

    I can work with plastic but it is a bit annoying to close this window all the time.

    Also I think signing in by email does not work all the time, even if I use correct data, but logging with Unity ID is working ok. But the popup still shows up.

    Hi,

    What are your Version Control package and Unity version?

    Could you check if deleting the following files makes any difference?
    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\tokens.conf
    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\cloudservers.conf

    Hi,

    I'm using Plastic SCM standalone app v11.0.16.7792, Version Control 2.0.1 package, Unity 2022.2.8f1.

    I deleted tokens.conf and it did not help. I did not find cloudservers.conf.

    Are you using UnityID or an email/password? Have you recently changed the email linked to your UnityID?
    Can you remove and re-add the user to the Plastic Cloud organization?

    I tried both UnityID and email. I didn't change the email.
    I removed and added an account in plastic client, and I think it fixed it.

    But I have another problem.
    I cannot checkin "Added and private" changes because this pops up, but I'm signed in correctly.
    There were also normal changes, I unchecked "Added and private" and those checked in normally.

    Hi,

    It seems to be still a problem with the client configuration/credentials.

    Can you delete/rename the following two files so you can configure the Plastic client from scratch?

    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\client.conf
    C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\profiles.conf

    I loaded fresh workspace project in Unity and tried to checkin those files but it still does not work.

    Could you attach the new Plastic logs to review them?

    Sorry, I just saw this post from a few days ago. I remember you eventually opened a ticket with us. But is the issue is still happening? In that case, could you reopen the ticket?

    I think the issue was not fixed but I managed to walkaround it and so far it did not happen again.
