I've used this options "showActivityIndicatorOnLoading" on my iOS player settings, but when it loads a loooong level on my iPad it does not shows any loading indicator.
Does anybody managed to have it working?

    What I'm doing wrong?
I'm using an Unity iOS Basic ('paid' sigh...)

I think it's made to show only when loading the App, not a level!

    Inconsistent behaviours across platform...
It shows at the splash screen for very long loading scene for iOS, but not for loading level.
For Android, it shows a nice orange circle whenever there is a level loading

It works perfectly well but only for the initial loading of unity itself so if you did what you should do, namely have a near empty scene 0, you never get to see it on ipad2, iphone4s, ipad3 as the time between 'finished loading code' and 'finishing loading level 0' will be in the range of 0-2s at max

It will not show up for loading anything but the original 'application + load level 0' sequence unluckily and Unity still does not offer a 'show activity indicator' function - luckily its only a matter of 3 lines of code or so to add it (or investing into Prime ecetera - not sure if 1 or 2)

yes, in 4.x we added the possibility to call it from script at any time (well, with some caveats, but everything is in the docs)
as for pre-4.0 unfortunately the behaviour was really different - ios only for initial load and android for any level.

It's 2015 now and we have Unity 5, and this problem still exists. Great. Tell me how can I center the indicator in Android devices?
