Should I upgrade Unity and Cinemachine?

    As a very inexperienced Unity user, I want to learn Cinemachine by adding to a Cinemachine 2.2.9 track that someone made for me in a project using Unity 2018.3.11f1 Personal. Should I first upgrade the Unity version and the Cinemachine version? If so, upgrade to which versions? Thanks!

    I would upgrade everything to the latest published versions: Unity to 2020.2 and CM to 2.7.1. Make a backup of the project first, just in case there's something else in there that doesn't want to be upgraded.

    Upgraded to 2020.2 and got the attached error message that I don't know how to correct. Helped would be appreciated. error.png
