    Hi,

    can anyone suggest a good webspider and filepacker (like upx) for osx?

    I've used this before, on the one occasion I needed to download a whole website. It seemed to be quite good.

    As far as I know, there are no executable packers on OSX at all. The whole idea is kind of obsolete in these days of large hard drives.

    I disagree as it always depends on the situation. It can be useful a) if no hd is available and b) it's less data for transmission and easier to handle than an ordinary zip-file when the transmission does not provide realtime hardware compression on both sides.
