Assets Shooting Range Environment VR

    Good day!

    We would like to give some inside, to forum members and game developers, of our new upcoming pack!

    For a long time, we wanted to make something similar to SWAT training range, for VR or any other FPS games. We feel that good game tutorial is a corner stone of keeping the player interested.

    This is why, we are planing to make a fully modular training range environment, that takes place in our latest pack: Airplane Hangar

    We will take the air plane hangar, strip it down and build from there! All pieces will be grid-based, so it will be super easy to build levels!

    Here is the hangar in action:


    Our basic asset list is this:
    - modular wall pieces and door (different colors and materials)
    - modular lobby/table
    - modular scaffolding for second floor, that will be above the shooting range
    - modular floors (different colors and materials)

    For basic props:
    - generic barrels, tires and things like that
    - pipes
    - sandbags
    - industrial lights

    Unique shooting range props and assets
    - Overall shooting range system: sliding line, booths, headphones and so on)
    - different ''bad guy'' cutouts for shooting
    - human manikin for sniper training

    This is our goal, at the moment, but we are always open for cool ideas!

    Some WIP images of the things, that we already made!
    At the moment, we are testing and playing around with walls and some props in Unreal engine, just because it's much faster in there and grid-based stuff is more precise! Also, some screens from marmoset engine...

    Polysquid Studios are serious content makers, so the pack will not be on the cheap end, but the quality and quantity will be there! :cool:

    Textures on those planes look fantastic. Looks like a great eye for detail.

    We made a custom material in Quixel suite, just for the walls. They use tillable texture, with separate material. We will add additional materials, so user can choose, what kind of wall he wants and what color! ;)

    Hey man! Yeah, we started to build this one and instantly remembered You hah! We are testing it in VR too, so scale and things like that, should be good! Hit us up on discord! ;)

    So, small update on what we are doing!
    - Starting to build everything and test it out with VR
    - today we will make unique shooting range props (human cutouts, aims and so on)
    - modular pipes for hangar, so it looks more industrial like
