I am following Roll-A-Ball and in video 3.3 (Displaying the Score and Text), I seem to have hit a problem (which I guess might be related to my DE XFCE 4.12). At 4:06, it asks to press Shift+Alt on the Anchor Presets popup (for UI Text) to pivot the text on Upper-Left corner of screen. When he does it, the icons in popup change and he clicks on one of them. When I do it, nothing changes and clicking simply puts the text in top-left corner of canvas, not screen. (Also, the canvas is very, very big like here but I reduced the size by changing Render Mode to World Space and rescaling).

Are others using the Linux build able to do it? I have already cleared all the shortcuts which required Shift+Alt from Setting Manager -> Window Manager -> Keyboard; is their something else that might be catching the keystroke?

You're right - the fix for updating the display has not landed yet.
However, it should be doing the right thing today, despite not giving you the visual indicators.
