shadows on planes not working

    I'm completely baffled, I can't get shadows to render on planes. I followed the guide in SCENES.txt and the example.

    In fact even the UnityARShadows example scene does not work when built.

    Am I missing an important project setting of some kind?

    Make sure the "Shadow Type" on your Directional Light isn't set to "No Shadows". I had the same problem and that was the solution.

    I had already checked it, I'm stil not sure what the cause was exactly, but I believe it was in the project settings somewhere.

    I ended up just copying all the project settings files from the Unity ARKit plugin on BitBucket into my project. That fixed the shadows.
