Shadows disappearing between cascades

    Hi,

    I wanted to ask about a problem that I noticed in several projects over multiple Unity versions now.
    Sometimes, the real-time shadows of my directional light (point and spotlight shadows work fine) disappear between shadow cascade 1 and shadow cascade 2.

    Playing with the cascade settings only shifts the problem along with the cascades. I'm using (and want to use) Stable Fit. However, the problem disappears when I use Close Fit.
    I can't really reproduce it consistently so I wanted to ask here first, if I miss something obvious or if other people deal with the same issue.
    Unity version is 2018.2.1f1 on Windows 10 using the built-in pipeline.

    I am having this same problem RIGHT NOW, and I cannot figure out a fix... did you ever find one?

    I know this is a long shot but any luck on finding the solution? Mine issue is between cascade 0 and cascade 1
