Shadowmaps disappear while calculating shaodwmaps via script

    Hi,

    so i know that i dont need to update the shadowmaps each frame, so i would like to save performance by doing the updating only at times where it needs to be done.

    The problem iam running into is that when i update the shadowmaps by hand, the shadowmaps disappear in the next(?) frame ... only when i continously update the shadowmaps, they will appear correct.

    Is there a setting iam forgetting to activate? Like "store old shadowmaps" or something like this?
