I'm looking to collaborate in order to develop an Intellectual property called Vivarium Seed. As its a genre blend of action and strategy, the mechanics will rely on a bespoke graphical user interface to handle collaborative resource management integrated onto an avatar in locomotion. I've worked with 8 emerging industry artists, they provided audio and visual assets to capture the overall aesthetic feel of the project.

We would collaborate on a basic prototype, this will lead to funding for an advanced vertical slice. We will be using the initial prototype to show a level of competency required by investors.

    Business Development
The project will be eligible for a new business prototype grant from Creative England part of National Arts Council. Having completed a business plan and concept pitch I was invited to apply to the funding round beginning November this year. I'd like to have a showcase of fundamental "innovative" features in the most basic form to support the application process. (Ideally we would work to produce a 3D white box level in Unity.

Gaining a grant will help the project become self sustainable for long enough to produce a robust target-render prototype. The £10,000 in financial resources will also enable us to commission animators, retain contributing artists and establish an efficient production pipeline. Here's the link funding route I'm looking to use. We would be eligible for round 2 section. http://www.creativeengland.co.uk/index.php/portfolio/games/

    About Me
I have a games design degree and 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer/Digital Art Editor for print publishing. To help prepare I've completed several business boot-camps run by veteran games industry consultants, venture capitalists and the Arts Council. I attended Dare to be Digital and took part in the Dare + business development program, I recently completed Ex-Play Bootcamp. As the creative director I'll provide the rule set, overall mechanics, scenarios and define level design (links will be provided). As the producer and business development officer I will define our marketing and funding strategy, our objectives and ascertain appropriate opportunities for funding. When necessary Ill also look to gain access to a the Unity Pro license for greater access to Unity's bespoke programing features.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards

    Taiwo Gomez

Shadow of the Colossus was F***ing glorious. One of those special ones where hadn't paid attention to PS2 for ages and went into a shop and randomly picked it up not knowing what it was.

    Best of luck with this.

I think you may have a large nostalgic market for this game. I haven't played Colossus in depth myself (didn't own a PS2 at the time), but I was always blown away by the concept of hunting massive beasts and the graphics.

What kind of collaborators are you looking for? E.g. devs, artists, testers, all of the above?

SoTC resonated with a large audience, there may be a film coming out in the next few years! I'm Looking for a dedicated programmer to be a development partner and makea base protoptype as a proof of concept of core gameplay. As you can see theres enough content to form the concept and aesthetic, which will help us gain development funding to hire freelance creatives.
