Setting filterMode on lightmap textures?

    Hi Everyone
    I am setting up LightmapSettings.lightmaps with my own textures.
    I have tried setting bilinear filtering on these textures when they are created and before I apply changes to the texture but I'm still seeing obvious point sampling artifacts.

    Is there something about when or where I set filterMode, or maybe something about lightmaps Im missing?
    Are there some details of LoadRawTextureData I dont know about? ;)
