set the VR mode only when SteamVR application is activated

    When launching Unity's VR compatible game, the SteamVR application will launch automatically.
    The game I'm producing corresponds to VR and normal mode.
    Currently, when the VR device is not connected to the PC, it will start up in normal mode.
    Ideally, I would like to start up in normal mode when the SteamVR application is not running.
    Is there a better way?
