    hi i am creating a 3d chatroom
    however i am hopeing that when finished the project will haave a lot of traffic could some one direct me to a good hosting sight some body mentioned i need a sight that has nix not sure what that is if someone could educate me on the subject i will appreciate it cheers guys

    You only need a *.nix server if you need to run the MasterServer/Nat facilitator yourself.

    However, if you need to run a persistent "game" server, it gets a bit tricker for the time being. You basically would need a server running MacOS or a supported flavor of windows (good luck on the second one) as you need to be able to run the Unity runtime.

    Someone who has already done the leg work might be able to give you better information, but here's a start at least.
