Serious VR editor lags in 2019.2.1f1 with Oculus SDK

    Hi,

    I seem to have an interesting problem in the Unity editor with Oculus VR support (no plug-ins, just Unity). Even with a simple scene (some cubes, canvases), I get quite a lot of visual lags when testing a game in VR. In some cases there will even be the Oculus hourglass when turning around. This is using 2019.1.2f1.

    The same project and Unity version does not show any lags when using OpenVR. When backporting the project to 2018.2.20f1, there are no lags at all, neither with Oculus or OpenVR.

    I've submitted a bug for this (Case #1154891), but would like to raise attention here as well for this (seeming) regression. Is there anything I might do short-term to alleviate this?
