    Hello,

My name’s Drew. I’m a programmer with 10 years of C# experience and 12 years with Unity. We’re looking for a game designer to join our team at Voredda Games. We’ve developed a few mobile games and have an action puzzle platformer currently in development. We are a small team of 4 and need a game director/designer to help push the game to completion. After the game’s release we will turn over the reigns to develop games you may have in mind, but we want to finish this game first.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    - Work with another designer to implement and delegate tasks for the team
    - Work closely with the programming team during the iteration process
    - Design gameplay elements such as enemy types, puzzles, player abilities, etc.
    - Assist with the level design

    Secondary Responsibilities:
    - Help with writing the story
    - Work with the concept artist to design the art direction.

    Requirements:
    - Creative and outside the box designer.
    - Someone that will fit our company culture.
    - Examples of your game design style.
    - Organized and have the ability to time manage

A little about Voredda Games’ company culture.
    • We value workplace democracy. We all share ownership of the company.
    • We value inclusivity within the creation process. We all share ownership of the games we are making.
    • The individual and the team are equally important. We are the sum of our parts and we believe in developing the individual team member as well as the team itself.
    • We value communication. We value transparency and honesty.
    • We make games that we would want to play. We create games with tightly knit gameplay and to finish with an overall polished product.

If this sounds like you and the culture sounds like something you’d fit in, feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.
    -Drew
