Hey! If you're looking for an exciting project that's run by professionals, actually has a realistic chance of not only being completed, but finished professionally... Isn't just about "giving it a go and hoping for the best" or creating a crap, profit driven game... That will actually lead to a full-time job - regardless of whether the project is successful or not - look no further!

How is this project different to others? We're already a professional organisation.

Long story short, I'm a 30 year old entrepreneur from the UK. I am the CEO and co-founder of one of Europe's most ambitious start-ups - we're looking to unite the entire industry of business experts and service provision (accounting, legal, marketing, app/game development etc etc) and deliver a library of programmes that allows to help any business of any size overcome any challenge in any sector.

Above all else, we're an ethics first, profit second organisation. We exist to make life better for everyone - including gamers!

We've just finished two years of planning, building up our network (66 agencies/firms/freelancers and counting) and establishing partnerships (most recently Starling Bank and Metro Bank).

What are we trying to achieve and where are we at?

I'm looking to build a games development team - we are pre-fund at the moment (don't worry, we're committed to never having investors/shareholders or "selling out") but I've documented a fantastic mobile game that's highly ethical (promotes building strong online friendships, anti pay 2 win) but also more than able to make a good income without being greedy.

Our team currently consists of 3 artists and 2 developers. I'm looking for another two unity developers (one specialising in network programming) to complete our team. Asset creation started two weeks ago and development started a month ago.

    What's in it for you?

Because we are pre-funds, there is no money to pay for individuals right now, but I have promised (there is a contract supporting this) a future payment to cover any work completed, once the company is profitable - something in the region of £5k.

Additionally I have guaranteed that until everyone in the founding team is on a full-time, well paid salary, no money will be taken out of the company other than to pay for overheads - and I'm not being paid (I'm responsible for project management and UI/UX). I just want this to be a great, successful game. I am a long time gamer (PC/console) from the age of 14 and simply put, I've always wanted to create games - they're just so boring these days...??

So whether our first game is successful and able to pay the salaries or I have to pull funds from one of my other projects, I will do what I need to in order to make this particular venture successful.

What are our long term plans?

This isn't a one time thing, the next project is to create a more evolved, fully immersive 3D sequel to the game we're creating now, for mobiles, desktops and consoles. I'm looking to build a strong team to work together over a long period of time and bring lessons learned from the world of business into the world of games development.

Let me know if you're interested, and if so, how you might want to contribute :)

(Coincidentally, if you do web development (HTML/CSS/PHP/WordPress) or think you can help in any other way - don't be afraid to reach out! - then please get in touch too.

    Quick update!

We lost a couple of people and replaced them with individuals who are a much better fit for the team; we're in a pretty stable position now and work on all fronts is ongoing without any major disruptions. We still have 3 artists and 2 developers but we're looking to bring on another two developers to integrate into our development team plan - we're avoiding a situation of "too many chefs in the kitchen" but not enough to get things done properly and on time.

We found the elusive network programmer so we're in a great position. This is a professional outfit, we are gearing up for the release of a fully monetised, commercial game that stays true to our core values (ethical, fun and absolutely not profit driven) by utilising new forms of monetisation strategies.

If you're good at what you do, or a junior looking to learn (we can train you) then please get in touch :)
