Gears don't waste your time with him . You can continue what you are doing with pro even if you pirated it, as long as you are not selling anything made with it. Ignore him and have a moderate shut this thread and re open a new one.

@GearsGamer, the models look very good, and the game appears to be shaping up well (from the pictures at least).

Regardless of whether you have a cracked Pro Version or not, as well as whether you created those models by yourself or pirated them too, I am glad to see someone young taking an interest in learning Unity.

Practice makes perfect so keep up the good work! I hope we see more of you on the forums.

Try releasing some videos of some quick gameplay footage as well.
    Good luck.

@KheltonHeadley, What if he did pirate it? We all know he won't be able to make money off of it. Same with the models. If the models are indeed taken from elsewhere, then I agree that taking claim for someone else's work is something to frown upon.

In addition, why would you call him out on a public forum? I believe if you were really concerned about the authenticity of how he acquired Pro, then you would have informed the correct officials first. Instead you posted it here for all to see, which leads me to believe you were trying to "show off" your sleuth skills and denounce him publicly.

In the future, if you suspect someone is using a pirated copy for profit or stealing someone else's work and claiming it as their own, I suggest you let the developers/owners know, rather than the community.

Not trying to be condescending or rude, I just think you sabotaged his thread for little to no reason, other than your own benefit. (I was actually thinking the same as you when I read through).

I would have to agree with both sides, but this entire argument has derailed the threads. Khelton did point out a member lying to our (virtual) faces. Also, all the posts directed at his criticism do seem awfully critical themselves. "He was critical first" is not a valid excuse and you have therefore nullified your own points. Also, Khelton's criticism is generally valid, even if it is not softened by having a good thing to say. On the other hand, Khelton did not have to point it out in the harsh manner in which he did. This thread has been derailed enough. Let's get back to the original discussion about the game, not the software used.

Closing thread due to the OP using a pirate copy.
