Script Randomly Corrupted On Startup

Yesterday,I started up Unity to find that a script I had been working on had been corrupted or deleted in some way. The file still exists, but opening it in MonoDevelop only shows that it blank, while opening it in notepad shows that it is empty, but there are blank spaces that are able to be highlighted. Using Recuva didn't help to restore the file, and it only produced this:

Have you been opening / saving scripts in different software?

Is your HDD/SDD healthy?

 

No, I've only been using Monodevelop, and I'm fairly certain my HDD is just fine.

 

Which version of Unity are you running on? I assume 2017 or earlier, since Unity 2018 don't support Mono Develop.

 

Yeah, version 2017.2.0b10, I haven't updated in a while,as you can tell.
