Resolved Screenspace Reflection HDRP

    Hi everyone,

    My issue is that I want to have SSR in Forward rendering

    In my research I saw it was something not supported in previous unity versions but in the documentation of HDRP I don't see any limitation to have SSR in Froward.

    Under the title ''Differences between Forward and Deferred rendering in HDRP'' nothing says ssr isn't supported but better is that it looks like Forward supports ssr. So I'm a bit confused on why I don't get it right.

    I've setup the HDRP asset and the camera's render settings to have ssr following the documentation and no success. The game view doesn't have any reflections but the scene view does. Also when I switch the Lit Shader Mode to Deferred the ssr is working

    I have this in unity 2019.4.11f1 (HDRP 7.3.1) and also 2020.2.2f1 (HDRP 10.2.2)

    with min smoothness at 0 I should at least see something somewhere but nothing

    Talking of which... it would be nice if there was some note about this when you select combo like this (in the options etc).

    Also.. I'm guessing MSAA + SSR will not be supported on HDRP? Last time I asked (probably closer to 2 years ago now) the answer was that it's on backlog but it really seems to be buried on the bottom if it's still there :)

    Ok thanks for the info! Indeed it would be nice to have a warning at least in the Forward or SSR doc bc I didn't thought the MSAA was the cause of it
