Question Screen Space Shadows

    Do they work without DXR?

    This is a continuation of this thread

    Though I do have them enabled both in the HDRP asset and in the camera settings I don't see any visual difference when I turn them on. However, I do see it when I run the editor in DX12 mode and use ray-traced shadows. So I came to the same conclusion as described here: "Non-DXR shadow simply ignore this setting"
    Is this true? And if so, why do wee see this option running in DX11 mode?
