    I sent you the receipt of my purchase on the Asset Store and still haven't received V1.03....

    Somehow my post awaring about this trap has been deleted. Looks like Unity has no interest on keeping their customers away from this kind of stuff and preffers to keep its 30% of the loot.

    OK, can we all just calm down? This stuff takes time and we don't know how big their team is. Not getting a same day reply is no reason to start calling the con men. They're working on other plug-ins as well and you are not their only customer.

    :eek: I am suprised we even got 1.03.

    Considering his "timeline", I cringe at the thought of how many more months it might be till the 1.04 (unity 5 compatible update).

    It crashed in my case, tested two times, wont blame the plugin because this project has crashed several times because it is in the limit of the 32bit capacity having to do tricky stuff to build etc.

    According to his twitter, he claimed to have submitted it on March 25...

    Why do we even care? when there is so many alternatives to this ssr solution, one being open source! just go to the Kode80 SSR thread

    encourage him to continue to improve his solution, if you know about the subject, contribute ideas or suggestions, algorithms, whatever, this livenda guy was been f**ing with us all this time, he promises the 1.04 update to be ready about 2 months ago, he cherry-picks questions made in this thread and answers only things that doesn't have nothing to do with the real problem here, I prefer don't waste money in third party solutions when SSR will come soon in 5.x

    I'll just be waiting for Unity's official SSR solution.
    It will probably come faster than any update reliably working with U5 here and with better & more reliable support. (needs a *sigh* emote).

    It is kind of a shame of potential being wasted. Using reflection probes on irregular shaped objects would be a real bitch to do... like a sloped ceiling.

    Do you refer to Candela? V1.03 is not compatible with Unity5. Supposedly V1.04 will be but no news from developer from weeks or months...

    Why is it when most other devs. submit assets the process usually takes like 2-5 days but when Livenda "submits" it is always like 1-2 months?

    Did you really "submit" it?

    Submissions can get rejected for one reason or another. It could have happened here.

    A lot of the assets I have pass through the update process so quickly it's like they are getting rubber stamped.

    That doesn't seem to be the case with this one.

    I notice the Satellite Reign game that's in early access uses Candella SSRR and has recently upgraded to Unity5, do you think they have modded it themselves?

    I am not sure, but I think they are using the Alloy framework and not the Unity5 standard shader. :-/

    This "within a week" thing must be a running gag at Livenda. They mailed me that news to Unreal Reflections will come in a week.. 10 days ago...

    I got my version from the group buy thing over year ago and even if 1.04 was ready 2 months ago it was never offered to these type buyers via email or anything. Same thing 3 weeks ago when the twitter post made. It should not matter if asset store rejects it or not and will there will be a hotfix since there is direct download link for us.

    It's all shady business and customer deception. Not sure if you can call the past activity and comments by Livenda anything but lying. Too bad I did not buy from asset store sales as then I at least would have had the chance to give 1 star and post a buyers beware review :rolleyes:

    I can understand if there are problems, maybee some bugs noted in final step of development. But what makes me angry is a fact that Livenda doesn't informs us (or when it does, it missinforms us) about release date. Especcialy when we can see that Livenda is lurking on forum:
