Screen Size very small on Mobile, mostly black (blackberry)

I'm very new and I'm having an issue porting my PC game to mobile, specifically blackberry in 4.2.

When I play the game, the most of the screen is just black, I have to tilt from landscape back to portrait to display full screen and at that point it's skewed. Also the game is unusually black for the first few seconds of the game(with sound playing) it isn't supposed to be like that.

I've tried messing with the camera settings with little luck, I have a feeling I'm overlooking something in a completely different section. Any ideas?
