Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of creating one or few Space/ SCI-FI Asset Packages.

I've already created hundreds of prefabs for one package, and video trailers/ pictures will be posted soon! But before I release this package, I'd like for you to take a moment and answer a question or two on the Poll below:

Each person can answer up to two possible answers.
Most answers in this poll are already Assets in my currently created package!

But I'd like to receive more opinions on preferred prefabs or assets before releasing.
The package that I am currently working on, will have a price range between $25-$45. I am using Unity Free, so realtime shaders and lighting are not fully possible for my creations, but that does not mean, that for any of you using Pro, that you cannot change these prefabs as you wish, when buying.

In due time I will Definitely Buy Unity Pro, and will update ALL of my assets when the time comes! I am sure that some or many of you have seen my packages for sale, and may like them, or may not. But I am a dedicated worker, and have been constantly updating my packages to fit the needs of my customers. So please let me know anything about my packages that can be improved at this time, if there is something that bothers you before buying.

I always build modular packages! As a game creator, I enjoy building assets, I know that many of you do as well! So why not release modular packages to the public, so that when buying a package, they can really make their Game as custom as they can, without worrying about too much repetition with other competitors using that same package!

Thank you for your votes so far, and more are welcome!
So far I've provided this package with:

    • Tons of interior/ exterior corridors and rooms. Fully modular customization for creating small or large scenes.
    • I will be creating and entire section in this package featuring spaceships, either on initial release, or first patch update.
    • I use a well blended use of realistic textures, and bumped speculars, for a nice metal look in this package.

This package will be released Sometime in February, at an affordable price, now brought down to $25- $35.

    • I've already included a "Lab" in this package, featuring tons of furnishing, flasks, equipment and supplies, etc.
This package is still in early development, and will be constantly worked on this month. So far, over 250 prefabs are already included. Any thoughts or ideas are warmly welcomed! Thank you. ---Aquarius Studios---

Some suggestions that have been made in the past for other sci-fi sets are
    Lifts and elevators
Transitions to "outside" such as space bays, but also mining caves, city or transit hub access, etc.

I would suggest spending more time making higher quality models and textures rather than hundreds of poor/mediocre quality prefabs.

Hmm, interesting, that you say mining caves, as I have not really thought of that.
Space bays are already in the works!

As far as Lifts and Elevators: Already in the process. I am working on several scripts that will be included in this package:
    • Ontrigger enter and exit for opening and closing security doors, etc.
    • Buttons for turning on and off laser grids, or blockades.
    • I've just today created, exterior landing pads, that if script written right, when ship comes back to hull, landing pad opens up, and sets spacecraft into hangar.
So there will definitely be a wide variety of scripts included in this package!

That's a fair recommendation. As far as using Unity Free, I do not have access to realtime shaders, for a better visual. But that only works for a good "illusion," of coursed. I try and make my packages with high quality models, but do not always do just that. Because I try and keep polys low, and a lot of shared textures to minimize drawcalls, and allow for many prefabs in one scene with very minimal chances of lag, etc..

I'll do my best, thank you for you comments!
