Hey, I just started messing with unity and VR so maybe there's a very simple solution I'm not seeing but here's what I'm aiming for: I want to have the motion of the player (location in space, controller movement etc) applied to another character, so you see your movements in third person.
Can anyone help this noob pass his VR class?
    Thank you

Dont do that, it'll be seriously disorientating.

Well it's a project class, basicly all we do in class is show our progress and get feedback. It's more conceptual than technical, but since I don't have a technical background like most students I get really lost.

A simple solution would be to just apply the movements the same as in first person to this character, but position the camera up and behind the character instead of at the character's head. I agree with it being a bad idea though, because in VR you expect to control the movement of the camera directly instead of a 3rd person character.
