    is an editor extension that provides superfast scene switching. One-click open, play and access to all your scenes or narrowed down selections of scenes in your project.

    New in SceneTab+ 1.1.1:
    • Added quick play feature. One-click play any scene without opening them first
    • New folder scope system that only shows folders containing a scene or scenes. Includes all subfolders for a very clear and fast way to drill down to scenes.
    • Added button icons and improved layout

    Great! Would surely love to try this :).

    When you click play on a scene that is not loaded (scene x), does it come back to the current scene after stopping play (scene y) or does it go to scene x?

    Excellent :).
    Yes, it does come back to the current scene (scene y) so you can continue work after quick play testing from another scene point

    Works as advertised! A simple and clean tool, will surely make my life a lot easier. Excellent work :)

    One small request. Would it be possible to add a button that will allow a scene to open as as additive scene?

    This will make life more simple as we work a lot with multiple scenes and find it frustrating to add and remove them. A button to remove the added scene would be incredible too :D.

    Just test it and all work as expected.
    I really like the compact UI. ( this was my main problem with the similar asset i also own)

    For anybody how didn't own such asset, it's really a huge time saver when you'll have a root scene to launch your game.
    You can 1-click launch your game, then automatically revert back to the level you were previously editing...

    Scen Tab+ folder scope is very handy too !
    Definitly recommend this asset !

    • Full Multi Scene Editing Support
    • Load and unload additive scenes
    • Natively returns to last SceneManagerSetup after quick playing another scene in Multi Scene Editing

    Just did a fast test on this. Works really good! Where was this tool 1 year ago when I had to switch between the scenes all the time? :D

    BTW:


    can this be fixed? I'm getting triggered when I see warnings :D

    Thanks, that's great :)

    You can remove the warning by open the SceneTab script and comment out the line //bool needsToUpdate; This is also fixed in the upcoming 1.2 version.

    Hello there!

    I'm using Unity 5.5.0p4. When I go to Tools > SceneTab

    I get this:
    The window remains locked like this:


    I have to close Unity then open it again for the Window to be ok.

    I still get this in Unity 5.6. I wanted to make a video about the Asset but ... I can't really use it.
    This triggers when I click Tools > SceneTab+

    Ok I found the error! If you change line #292 in SceneTab.cs to:

    if (quickPlayActive == false && scenesAdditive.Length > 0) {

    Please let me know if that also works in Unity 5.6. Thanks!!

    No luck in 5.6.





    This only happens when you first open the Window. After I Hard Close Unity & Open Unity again... everything is fine!

    I found another small problem. I tend to name my scenes something like:

    00.Loader
    01.MainScene

    In the view the scenes are shown like this:

    Thanks, will fix that in next update. Now I have fixed ALL errors that you have encountered :) There are a bit much to alter yourself but the update is pending review for asset store now. This is version 1.2.3

    I just want to say that this asset has been a huge time saver, I think it's a required for pretty much anyone with a multi-scene project.

    SceneTab was broken for me in Unity 2018.1.0f1, it was pouring out a ton of errors and was not listing the scenes in my project. Luckily it's an easy fix for anyone running into this.

    Just change line 292 from:
    Code (CSharp):
    1. if (quickPlayActive == false) {
    to:
    Code (CSharp):
    1. if (quickPlayActive == false && scenesAdditive != null) {
    And that fixes it entirely. Cheers!
