I upgraded from 2019.4.12 to 2020.3.14f1 today. Everything is working great. The only issue i had when upgrading was Visual Studios not recognizing the UnityEngine.UI Namespace. I was able to fix this issue by using "Regenerate Project Files" under Preferences > External Tools.

Other than that issue, nothing else has been a problem until going into my scene and trying to edit. I am working in a 2D project and have been for months in 2019 with no issues. All the sudden, when i click on a gameobject in the scene that is closest to the camera and it selects the gameobject furthest away (behind) multiple gameobjects.

I've searched google, i've looked through all my settings, checked my packages and have restarted Unity AND my PC.

No Visible filters are selected (or click filters) In the hierarchy.
All elements are under Layer UI.
    No Tags.

    Please help.
