Scaling Import from Blender (game door too small?)

    Hi everyone
I modeled this room in Blender, and exported as FBX.

All seemed great, but when I inserted a First Person Controller from the character presets, all of a sudden I feel like I'm too big! (or the door is too small?)

Is this an optical illusion, or is the first person really tall? Or maybe there's some scaling going on?

Any tips to check on this and / or troubleshoot would be appreciated.

Did you assume 1 unit = 1 meter when you modeled the scene in Blender? I think there is a scale multiplier when you export from Blender. Make sure that's set to 1. There is also a scale multiplier in Unity when you import a model. Make sure that's set correctly also.

I believe when you create a 3D box in unity that the dimensions are 1x1x1, so you can use that to measure the room in Unity and see if it's the same number of units as your scene in Blender.

    Hey @kdgalla
    thanks for the reply.
To be honest I haven't checked all of those things, was mainly assuming. I'll double check and report back. Thanks so much!

The only thing I can think of, is a standard size door is 6'8" (2.03m). I made a 2.03 tall rectangle in Blender, and notice the door is a little shorter. Still, it only seems like an inch or two. I wonder if the first person character is really tall.
