Hello! I have a doorway 2 meters high in Maya 2018 (system units are meters). I convert it to fbx 2018 meters (automatic unchecked). Then I import it to Unity and scale factor in importer is 1. So in Unity I see that my eye level is in the top of the doorway. The user's height is of 185 cm in Oculus driver. How to make scale right?
There really isn't a consistent standard for sizes in software environments like this. In higher end CAD packages there is, but not really in gaming it seems. I've always found that I have to do some experiments. I create a one meter box in Maya and import it into Unity, then create a cube in Unity (default is one meter) and see if they match. If not, then I take note of the scale difference and try to find where the error is in the process from there.
