Question (SBP) SBP 1.11.1 Cache Server Config does not work with Unity Accelerator

    Hi. Scriptable Build Pipeline 1.11.1 exposed cache server related options now, so I tested it with Unity Accelerator and found that it does not work well.

    When I enabled "Use Build Cache Server" in preferences, Unity is freezed when building asset bundles.

    First of all, Is this compatible to Unity Accelerator? or only work with legacy cache server?
    And how this works? there are no documentations for this so I want know how it works.

    Which version of Addressables are you using?

    I used SBP directly without Addressables. Unity 2020.1.2f1 + Scriptable Build Pipeline 1.11.1.

    Hey there!

    Got a message from the team,

    "You can let them know that SBP and Accelerator are not compatible at the moment. When SBP 2.0 comes out that should be compatible but 2.0 is still a ways off."

    Hi. It is very very cumbersome to have multiple different cache servers because of this issue.
    When will SBP support the Accelerator, as the Cache Server has been DEPRECATED. It is not ok that Unity relies on deprecated portions, forcing the user to an inoptimal setup.

    It is ludicrous having to maintain two caches, please step up your game and stop using deprecated software... software that Unity itself has deprecated and forced the users to new versions.

    Hi. What is "ways off"? It is cumbersome having to run services deprecated by Unity on your build machines because some teams at Unity still use them. You should really remedy the situation.
