    Already made new update :) I will record new video with simple tutorial to this update. I will do it today :)
    I think update will be able to download... for around 1 week?

    New Update just came out!

    A lot of new functions, completely fresh system with fixed bugs! :)
    Update about mobile: Mobile Version is available within the 4.0 update.

    I am waiting for approve to my previous update :/ Inventory, blocklife, crafting etc.

    Next is: Animals +monster (AI), map generator, tools, light and scenario for game

    Multiplayer is already in version 3.0 and mobile is coming with version 4.0

    Thank you for waiting! I can't wait for it too haha. I want to play with friends ;)

    Hi, I'm interested in buying this, but the asset seems to need more adventure game elements:
    - Interactive NPC dialogue capability
    - Quest/subquest system

    Please read what we will make to this package ;)
    Quests (Scenario with structures and the whole npcs etc.) Will be for about 2 updates but of course that is going to be higher price than next update.
    I must finish light, items, animals(npcs, monsters) and map generator before Quests ;)

    But of course, I am working on it!

    will be good if you adding IAP and advertising (like admob rewards video) in future update.

    Hello Budicreed!

    I am not sure about adding admob to the PC Game. Mobile ads for PC games to be honest are... complete unecessary. I will make completely new paid system to buy "characters in game".

    If you want I can record how to add Admob to game tutorial. This is not a problem :)

    Mobile version of the game of course will come very soon but at first I must to finish game. Make multiplayer, gui, new systems etc. :)

    I know admob is unecessary for pc game, but is this asset very mobile friendly? because i want to buy this asset for making into mobile game and i think admob rewards or caracter purchase is very good to be added in your asset, and just make sure the mobile control is perfect. im in love with this asset, goodluck mate!

    You will like the asset at the 2nd/3rd update from now. That would be complete game ready to release and I can't wait to show it all for you!
    Mobile friendly is going to be after finish ground systems like map, light, enemies etc (so after may's update).

    The youtube tutorial videos are dead. Nice assets but i could sure use some guidance to use it.

    Could you implement pysics? so when I click on the last wood of tree, the tree collpase and fall down in blocks?

    Psychics and gravity are in game in coming update, because it will be one of the battle system ;)

    About trees falling I never wanted to make that, but you can do it by your own! Maybe I will record tutorials like that, but that after important updates (for 2-3 updates I am going to make features like that, now it is not necessary)

    just got this and im trying to spawn my own items (sprites)
    they are spawned but i cant see the them in game

    is there something special you are doing with layers or the camera or something?

    Did you try to add your own items like in tutorials? There are everything you need to know. Maybe you should mark in sprite "read/write" option. More are on tutorials (check playlist).

    I am recording new tutorials to new update.

    I AM SORRY FOR UPDATE DELAY, I AM WORKING ON REALLY IMPORTANT SYSTEMS LIKE:
    AI (interactions with player, world and with other AIs)
    Map Editor (Finished)
    Light and gravity psychics system
    Tools (almost finished)
    and tutorials.

    I need little more time to publish the update and give you the best sandbox survival package!

    Ok first I have questions and ideas :p . First ideas. Maybe when you break sand a shovel should pop out for a sec, then for wood axe, stone pickaxe etc. Also Maybe a tutorial to make your own world? :p. Thanks for reading this! I had more ideas and stuff but I forgot lol

    Thank you for your comment and I love to say that everything you wrote here is already in game ;)
    But I am working on AI that is why Update is going so long to publish.
    About creating your own world: Map Editor and Tutorial will be available also in that version.

    Look at this ;)

    Thank you :p. Ok well I remembered my other ideas lol. Food, (maybe armor?) , and maybe a cute cat character lol. Also a cool idea is magic. Sorry if I may be bugging you I just really love this asset. Extra: mobility items :p. I know this stuff is hard to code so that's why I was reluctant to ask.

    Haha it is okay. About magic etc-> look here: http://2dsandbox.com. I made that asset and I am creating that game only because every sandbox game became RPG like Minecraft and Terraria. I want to create sandbox with really unique system of fight and scenario ;)

    That is why there won't be magic, spells, potions and RPG elements at all. I can't wait to finish it and play the game ;)

    Nice, I'm using the asset version of it in unity to Help create my own game. One question, is the update slower for unity asset users?

    At this moment there is only unity assetstore version of package. Update delay is because of much of work and bug fixes. If I will upload package anywhere else, Asset Store Users will get updates firstly

    ive been doing some experiments with mobile controls
    maybe this info will help

    using CnControls
    to stop the touches going through the ui and onto the blocks add this line in Update() in TilePlacer.cs
    Code (CSharp):
    1. using UnityEngine.EventSystems;

    ive managed to add mobile controls.
    testing on a device the world is just flat, no trees or anything.

    any ideas why?

    Hi,

    On built game it might use different map, not the original one. I am not sure why is it now, but make sure that in built files is map01. Copy/paste it from project or something.

    after much investigation it appears Application.dataPath does not work on android.
    so i will wait for your update with the map editor before i start taking it in another direction.

    Today I am going to finish Interaction AI with Player, light and fight system(survival system).
    I made few more functions to editor and I will upload update in monday to approve. In that time I will record tutorials on youtube. I am really sorry for that delay, but there was so much work

    GOOD NEWS
    Finally:
    Update came out. Now we need to wait for Unity approval.

    What's new:

    -Map Editor (Draw, paste, copy, brush size, rubber) Draw your map!
    -Map chooser (Draw more maps and it will choose one randomly when start game)
    -Map Limiter (Choose a limit to your map where player cant go further)
    -TUTORIALS FOR COMPLETELY EVERYTHING!!!!! You will understand everything what is here. YOUTUBE
    -Tools like: shovel, axe, pickaxe (+every tool destroy more life to each category of blocks)
    -Blocks life: need to click more times ti destroy block
    -Blocks category: dirt, stone (etc)
    -Block light: Torch (active) and Torch (Inactive)
    -AI - live monsters, animals, walking on map
    -Random walking of monsters. They walk and change site every random time and IDLE randomly
    -New Player system
    -New inventory system:
    -Profile in inventory: you can wear tools and in fufute clothes (Will be tutorial to this)
    -Tools are visible when you put them to your profile to hand
    -NEW BLOCKS IN SHORT NEXT UPDATE ( I am drawing more than 50 blocks right now)
    -Gravity of block: New type of block: you can make that block will fall down when placed
    -INTERACTION WITH PLAYER AND LIGHT:
    -There are zombies on the map. Zombie want to kill you when you are in the area. He will run to you, to destroy him place {Torch = Light}. When he is in the Light Area he will transform into chicken!


    -Birds are flying on the map. When bird see Light in his area, he flies to light 2 times. First time he will
    extinguish light, second time the torch is going to be inactive and there is no light.
    -I don't want to make RPG that is why I made that new fight systems with light and gravity.
    To destroy bird you need to put gravity block above him. Gravity block will fall down on the bird and he will disapear.

    -When Zombie catch Player, Player loose 25% of health
    -New Main Menu and graphics (Better)
    -And many many more... I can't remember there was so much work ;)

    Do you like it? I hope. Now it is time to polish this project and create MOBILE version and Multiplayer. That what I waiting for a long time.

    VERSION 2.0 JUST CAME OUT!
    I know every single bug here. I will fix them i 2.1 version! (In next week)

    Version 2.01 (with Youtube Tutorials) is awaiting for approval!

    Here you have new tutorial series! I am recording more than 12 TUTORIALS to everything! I am sure to upload them in 3 days max! ;)

    This looks like a nice little sandbox game. I was wondering how you set up the sprites. Did you set the textures to 16 PPU and keep sprite scale to 1, or did you keep textures to default 100 PPU and instead change the sprite scale?

    I'm interested in this asset, but I would be changing the sprites for more detailed ones, like 64x64 pixels instead of 16x16. I'm trying to figure out how much pain would be involved. ;)

    There was a lot of work with tiles to make it unlagged.
    Textures are in 16x16pixels but the tiles are rendered as a chunks. The whole chunk is one collider (about 8x4 I don' remember :p). If you render 2 chunks it gives 64blocks that are one collider. It separate only when you destroy block. I will record one video about textures

    Hi! Thank you! Yes, this package is completely different than a first version of it ;) Now I will fix the bugs in 2.1 version, add some textures, map, create generator to 2.5 and work on it a little.
    Next is going to be Version 3.0 with: Multiplayer, Mobile, Scenario (Missions, story, adventure, etc.)
    But I am not sure when it will come, I hope soon

    just downloaded the update 2.01 but seems like the last one, cant see the map editor scene or tools or ai

    for me the multiplayer is what i have been waiting for. are you going to use unet?
    missions, story etc i will not use personally as i have other plans

    great work btw, saved me a lot of work already just with the blocks and recipes

    Please download it again, it must be wrong version. If you watch tutorial with INTRODUCTION you can see where the files are.
    There must be unity download issue somewhere. (V2.0 has it also)

    About Multi: there is going to be Local for co-op and I am not sure whatyo use for public. Pun unet, Iwill check what is the best.

    Thank You and please check again your package. Update 2.0 was made for AI etc. (See youtube)

    I will check that, give me a second. Maybe Unity did something wrong

    OK I created new Unity 2D Project. Open Assetstore in Unity and download 2D Survival Game Package from there.

    Everything is working fine, and version 2.05 is there. With AI, Tools, New things, invetory, map editor. Please create COMPLETELY NEW PROJECT to get changes from version 2.0
