I am a teacher and have a bunch of students interested in working on some games for a summer school program. The issue we have is their school issued laptops are extremely old and slow and barely load up Unity (and are unusable in any decent 3D scene). So I fired up both paperspace.io and AWS Workspaces to see if I could get Unity running on a cloud VM remotely to solve the issue for them.

Sadly Unity fingerprints the machine's hardware for licensing and can't recognize either services' MAC address which is needed for the process so I continually get an error saying "Machine identification is invalid for current license". Anyone ever tried to do something like this or have any resources that could help me solve the issue? I'm literally willing to pay the bills for the five or so AWS instances to have them be able to work a few hours a day on their project but I have not seen anything on the web about some one doing anything similar. I would simply go to the school and set up a couple VNC on our systems but they literally turn off the network connection and power to our lab during the summer.
