Originally I was not running Unity Hub in Admin mode, but I was getting build errors on a particular project. After searching, the suggested fix was to run Unity Hub in Admin mode.

This allowed the project to build successfully, however...After doing this, I can no longer drag and drop stuff into the project window in Unity. So if I want to add more sprites for example, when I try to drag and drop, it just gives me the "no" mouse cursor. I can bypass this by opening the folder in windows, copying the item there and then going back to Unity for it to import it, but this is frustrating to do. Or, I can kill the hub and reopen it in non-admin mode and then open the project again and the drag and drop fixes itself, but then my builds fail.

This sort of back and fourth is a bit frustrating. I'm just confused why running the hub as an admin breaks Unity's drag and drop into the project window.

    Any insight on this?
