    Hello,
I've been reading about different RPG frameworks that work with Unity, but can't decide on the one that will be best to learn to implement.

I've seem: ORK, Dextero, and RPG Kit 2.0....

Any feedback/ suggestions in any form would be greatly appreciated?

there is alot of comparison info on the forum already for current RPG frameworks

one ive been involved in is this one: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/best-current-rpg-kit-in-as.285162/

A quick run down for you:

    • Dextero showed promise but has not been updated in over a year
    • RPG kit is great i hear but i also believe its a full kit meaning everything is laid out for you(if that how you want thaen thats a good choice, if not youll be spending alot of time modifying existing code,UI etc)
    • out of the 3 you mentioned ORK would be my option of choice as its fully feratured but you build what you need from it and its heavily supported and dev is accesible

lastly dont forget to check out Plygame ( https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/9694 )as an alternative also like ork it is feature heavy and offers diffrent options and is also dev accessible and community driven

Computerkid23 provided a good rundown. I've worked fairly extensively with all of these frameworks. Here are some extra notes. Your best resources to get an idea of what to expect are the tutorials and forums.
    • RPG Kit is designed for multiplayer. Forum, Tutorials
    • ORK Framework is a comprehensive kit best for single player. Forum, Tutorials
    • plyGame isn't as feature-extensive as ORK, but it has a very clean, streamlined design and still covers all the expected RPG elements. Forum, Tutorials
    • Dextero is probably abandoned.
The first three all come with visual programming systems -- RPG Kit has ICode, ORK has its own system, and plyGame has plyBlox -- so you can make a complete game without any scripting.
